I have used Maria Lee and Makeup & Hair for several years. Our first booking was for Halloween makeup as Sally Finkelstein and Jack Skellington, and we were so impressed that we have booked Maria and her team every Halloween since. Their attention to detail and knowledge in special effects (including prosthetics, bald caps, and full face makeup) sets them apart from your average artists. Maria is professional and very experienced and I would highly recommend her and her artists for any occasion. I am a repeat client and look forward to continued service for special events.

Maria is nothing short of awesome! Her work is the best in the business. I have seen her many times for MTF makeup and transformations, and not only was the end result amazing (and it really was,) but it is always very fun and she makes her clients feel extremely comfortable. Maria did an amazing job on my hair and make up for my City Hall wedding. I'm not someone that wears much make-up and I can't even french braid my own hair, so I was really looking for someone who could help me look like my best on my wedding day, but without turning me into some kind of glamified Kardashian type. I was more nervous than I thought I would be and didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted, but Maria was super patient, asked me a lot of questions, and really lead me through the whole process. She took the time to make sure everything was extra perfect, constantly adjusting and readjusting as we went through the appointment. To be honest, when I first looked in the mirror, I was surprised - I wasn't used to seeing myself so made up! But I got compliments from everyone all day saying I really looked like me, just this amped up version of myself. And when I got the photos back, I could really appreciate her magic. She really knew exactly what to do to make sure I had that picture perfect finish, without making me look over done in real life. She is so sweet, easy to work with, and totally professional. On top of that, she does amazing work! I can't thank or recommend her enough!
