Anna helped with my makeup when I was in Rome this June. I sent her photos of myself & my dress in advance. She was able to create the look I was hoping for and we had such great chat! Her price was also very reasonable. Highly recommended!

I came from the states to Rome for my wedding. I contacted Anna and she was available when I needed her! She responded very quickly to emails, which made planning so easy and stress-free. I was a little disappointed however in the finished product. I didn't have a trial run with her so I understand that complicates things a little bit, but even when I showed her pictures of exactly what I wanted (I had my hair and makeup done a week earlier for bridal pictures in the states), the makeup didn't look too similar and the hair especially didn't. Anna is definitely a makeup artist, not a hair artist.

I had false lashes that I asked her to apply, but they weren't placed on my lash line and were high above them so they looked weird on my normal lashes, and there was also an obvious gap on the seam that looked pretty bad. She tried to fill it in with eye liner, but it just looked patchy and weird. She used high quality makeup which was nice, but it was applied messily so there was makeup crumbled all under my eyes and even on my cheek-I had to ask her to remove the black on my cheek (it was a good amount and had settled in my pores), but I already had foundation on so that wasn't super great. Looking back on her pictures of other clients, I feel like she gives most of them the same look. She also applied heavy black eye liner on my lower lash-which I did not want and had told her I just wanted a soft look-and when I asked her to remove some of it/lighten it, she smeared a beige cover-up under my eye that looked a little weird. I ended up just having to wipe it off and fix my under eye myself, which was disappointing because I had paid her 200 euro for the service.

She curled my hair super well-which is great because Rome is so humid and my hair doesn't hold curl-but the actually half updo looked absolutely nothing like the detailed pictures I provided her, and I had to ask her to fix a lot of things about it that just looked sloppy. The bobby pins were also super visible (and there were a lot of them), so overall it looked a little sloppy.

Overall, Anna was very kind and responsive, but I don't think that the 200 euro I paid her was worth it. I feel like I could have done almost the same makeup job myself, as well as the hair-and that's saying something because I'm not very great with either of those.
