The very best! I had the most wonderful experience with Jyz Padilla as my wedding makeup artist! After witnessing her amazing work while filming a wedding last year, I knew I wanted her as my HMUA for my own special day. Her talent truly shines, and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice! From the moment we started at 4 AM because I had a brunch wedding, I felt completely at ease. Despite the early start and having several bridesmaids and my mom also getting their hair and makeup done, everything went smoothly. I didn’t have a makeup trial due to budgeting for other wedding expenses, but I trusted Jyz to create my look—and she exceeded my expectations! I felt like the most beautiful bride, and my hair and makeup lasted all day. Jyz truly goes above and beyond, accommodating every detail to ensure you get exactly what you want and the emergency kit was a nice touch, I feel like I have a memento of our time together with my kit! Also I just loved how we connected and clicked from the very beginning, it was like hanging out with my big sister (hence why I call her Ate Jyz!) and she was helped make me feel like the most beautiful woman on my day. It was easy to talk to her with the time spent and me and my bridesmaids were all super happy with our looks and how well we were taken care of. I can’t recommend her enough! ❤️

A little late but worth the wait! MARRIED on JUNE 17, 2023! A hawaiian wedding, while sharing our hobbies on the side, hope you all enjoy! My husband Jed and I want to thank you Jyz for your wonderful work of art on our wedding day! I loved how natural I felt during the day, from the makeup to my hair, never did I have to worry about sweating or tears shedding down my face; it was perfect! I asked Jyz for a hawaiian wavy hairstyle, that blended with our color theme which was perfect! I love how Jyz gives you that one on one quality, her perfection to detail, the more examples you have the better! I felt so stressed free, she was able to go step by step during my first makeup trial and even after for our wedding! Although I only got to know Jyz for 2 days out of the year planning the wedding, she's a great person to be around! She's like a loving older sister to me! - haha! thank you ate! I feel bad for sending this late review in, but the pictures were worth it! I still can't thank you enough for being patient with my photographer and helping me before I walked down the aisle! Yes! I was stressing the last 5mins before the final walk, but Jyz helped out, she was able to help with our first touch and the flow of my dress; I couldn't say anything but thank you for all the love and help on our day! *I know my review may be short compared to others but I fully recommend JYZ 100% - I would definetely contact her again for any special occassian! 5/5 STARS!!!!! Jyz did my bridal hair and did hair and makeup for my family members. She was a recommendation by my wedding planner. After I sent an inquiry, she and I set up a phone call and during that time, she wanted to learn more about the style I wanted. After booking, she would follow up with me regarding day-of timeline, sent a welcome guide with hair/make-up tips, and asked for my Pinterest so that she could be familiar with the vibe/theme and vision for my wedding. I wasn't able to do a hair trial because I hadn't budgeted for it, which is a risk that I was willing to take, but with Jyz - I had nothing to worry about! She took my hair vision and made it come to life.

She was also super great with my older family members. My mom is hard to please/difficult to impress and by the time Jyz was done with her hair and make-up, my mom was enthralled with her look, and even asked Jyz to take a picture with her! I definitely recommend Jyz for your hair and make-up needs!

LOVED working with Jyz! She did the hair and makeup for my wedding and we had a wonderful experience. Jyz was super communicative every step of the way and gave helpful and realistic recommendations on products when I asked (and was not pushy about pushing any specific product! She worked with my price point)

I came in with one inspo picture and a list of concerns (oily, acne prone skin, makeup doesn’t stay on, no idea what I’m doing with my hair) so I wasn’t really sure what would work for me, and I really appreciated working with her to nail down my wedding look at my bridal preview.

Plus, Jyz was just fun to work with! Very easy to talk to, I know my mom and bridesmaids loved working with her (and a few of them came in with some bad makeup experiences from past weddings, so they know what they’re talking about!)

Jyz is always on time, sweet, and makes the getting ready experience so fun.
